Phase 1 · STEP 1-3
Raw Material Preprocessing
Raw Material Intake
SPICULE raw materials sourced directly from domestic freshwater aquaculture facilities
Origin Verification
Certificate of origin review, CoA verification, and origin traceability confirmation
Comprehensive Microbial Testing
TPC, Yeast & Mold limit testing
Phase 2 · STEP 4-9
Enzyme Treatment
Primary Rinse Purification
Removal of large impurities (soil, suspended matter) through triple rinse with purified water
Multi-Mesh Filtration
Physical impurity removal using tiered mesh filters (50-500μm)
Acid/Alkali Purification
Alternating weak acid-to-weak alkali treatment (pH 4.0-9.0 range) to decompose organic residues
Enzyme Treatment Culture Inoculation
Patent-registered microbial culture added under controlled 4°C environment
Low-Temperature Enzyme Treatment Initiation
Enzyme Treatment begins with real-time monitoring of pH, temperature, and dissolved oxygen (patented process)
72-Hour Enzyme Treatment Stabilization
Continuous 72+ hour enzyme treatment under SCADA 24/7 automated monitoring
Phase 3 · STEP 10-17
Purification & Classification
Enzyme Treatment Completion Assessment
Completion determination based on enzyme treatment endpoint indicators (pH, turbidity, microbial count)
Supercritical CO₂ Extraction
Isolation of bioactive components via supercritical extraction with ND (non-detect) residual solvent conditions
Primary Concentrate Condensation
Vacuum concentration to adjust extract concentration to target levels
Multiple Rinse Cycles
Five high-pressure rinses with purified water for complete chemical residue removal
Centrifugal Separation
Separation of solids and supernatant using centrifuge
Freeze-Drying
Rapid freezing at -80°C followed by vacuum drying to prevent heat-induced structural changes
Precision Micronization
Precision micronization to 100-320μm range according to application
Particle Size Classification
Batch uniformity validation via laser diffraction particle size analysis (CV < 5%)
Phase 4 · STEP 18-23
Final Validation
Surface Treatment
Optional post-treatment: biopolymer coating, functional ingredient impregnation, or encapsulation
Purity Analysis (HPLC)
High-performance liquid chromatography confirmation of ≥99.8% purity
Heavy Metal Testing
Comprehensive heavy metal testing (As, Pb, Hg, Cd)
Final Microbial Limit Testing
Final product microbial limit testing (TPC, E.coli, S.aureus)
Sensory & Foreign Matter Inspection
Sensory assessment of appearance, color, and odor; optical and UV microscopy foreign matter inspection
